Sweet Chloe's Unscripted Birthday
Good morning everyone! Happy Saturday! I am plus one this weekend as my 13 year old has his buddy over. Oh, the joys of 2 teenage boys. They are being really good, actually. :O) I want to say I'm sorry to everyone for not coming by your blogs yesterday or this weekend. I don't have enough time in the day, it seems. I will get back with it first thing on Monday, I promise!
Today is sketch #80 at Unscripted Sketches! Join us for another fabby sketch challenge! I hope you're not getting tired of seeing my layouts, because that's what I have for you again today. I used the uber cute Button Bear from Wink Wink Ink. I paper pieced it with matching paper and used buttons from the digi kit for her joints. The original file is of the bear standing, but I moved things around and made my little bear sitting on the paper with one leg hanging down. I hope you like it! I mean how can you not with all the sparkly goodness and the adorable little girl? Two weeks ago we had a birthday party for my Great Niece's 1st birthday. It was a very special day for all of us. Little Chloe Krislyn was diagnosed with gastroschisis pretty early on in the pregnancy. She was in hospital after she born for 3 months. She had only one surgery and has been our own personal miracle. She is such a doll and is such a happy little girl! Anyway, here is a layout of her at her birthday party...look at those eyes! :O)
Don't forget to check out what all my DT Sistahs have made for you see today...links are on my sidebar...better yet, head over to the US Blog and see everything while you link up your creation! :O)

Got Horns?
No, not the kind of horns that say "I'm Evil", but the kind that say "I'm a Whimsical, Magical Creature!" Happy Tuesday everyone!
I wanted to share with you a card I made for one of my good friends. Amanda is having yet another girl (this makes number 3), and her shower is coming up this weekend. It is expected of me to make a cute card for the baby's book, so this is what I came up with. I used the unicorn image called "Beauty" by Wink Wink Ink. I paper pieced the unicorn...I love my striped unicorn! ;O) This digital stamp actually comes as a horse with the wings and the horn in separate files. Talk about versatility! Be sure to get over to the shop and pick this Beauty up for yourself! While you're there look at the newest stamp called Little Bird...it is darling!!! Anyway, I hope she likes it...and I hope you do too! :O)

Cards, Including my 1st Bella!
Hi all! I have been busy card making. I made my 1st couple of Bella cards and I love them! I got to play with my COPIC markers too. Woohoo! Here are the sassy Bella's...

This is a card made using a paper piecing of a little birdie. I thought it was "tweet". ;o)

That's it for now, ladies. Huggers!
I made 2 cards that I entered into Caardvark's Challenge. I hate the blue one, but I really like the pink and brown one. :o)

Getting Ready for Christmas
So, I've been MIA for a while. I got my Christmas cards finished before Thanksgiving so I could mail them out right after. I love penguins, so I paper pieced all my cards with a cute little guy this year. Here are my 2008 cards...

I just finished an altered photo storage box for my sister. She just got a digital camera not too long ago and is taking a lot more pictures. I am trying to encourage her to get them printed A LOT more often than I do with this gift...

Check back tomorrow and I'll have some pictures of stamped candles that I'm making...

Now that we are into December I am in full swing making Christmas gifts. I made a Red Hat Society paper bag album for my MIL that turned out really cute. There are tags stuck into places and extra pages that slide out for more pictures on both sides. I hope she likes it! Here are some pictures...

I am using a swap I was in on one of my Yahoo Groups for a gift for hubby's Grandmother. It's a 2009 CD Calendar that is way cute. Here is January...

Layout Requests
I have had a couple of layout requests that I've been working on the last couple of days and thought I'd share them with you.
I like working on Christmas in September. :o)

This one is for Judy and her little cuties Allie & Oscar. She has a whole "doggie amusement park" in her backyard for them. She hopes that this time next year Oscar will be competing!

Halloween
So I'm a little ancy for Halloween to arrive. I made this super cute...errr...spooky haunted house paper piecing as part of a 2 page premade layout. I love the way it turned out. It definately took me a while. When I started it I didn't have shingles or siding, just the solid pieces and it looked a little "flat". After adding the shingles I wanted it to look like it was old and not well taken care of so I sanded the shingles to make it look like the roof hadn't been replaced in many, many years...almost like mine before the hail made us get it replaced. :o) I also made the ghost, bats and pumpkins. Leave me a comment and let me know what you think of it. I love it!
