Anything Halloween Challenge

Good morning all and a happy weekend to ya!  It has cooled off quite a bit here over the last few days, and boy is it a relief!  It's nice when the AC can kick off for a bit!

I'm here with a new challenge over at Simply Betty Challenges.  The new theme?  ANYTHING HALLOWEEN!  As you all know, we LOVE Halloween!  If you missed it, we released some new Sweet Gothic Kids images last week in the Halloween genre, so that's what we have all used for the challenge.  I made a cute little milk carton treat box and used Franken-Scott for the tag.  He is too fun, right?!

Witch Way?

Good morning Simply Betty Stamps fans!  It's release day...and Halloween stamps, no less!  YAY!!!  Be sure to check out the SBS blog for your discount codes...Betty is too awesome, ya know?

Up first I have Witchy Wednesday...this card looked much better in my head.  I hate it when that happens!  I do like the coloring, just not the design of the card.  Can't win 'em all, right?

Next I used Vampiress Tilly.  What a sassy vampire!  I just love her!

Halloween!!!

Hello all!  I know I haven't posted anything crafty in a bit, but I'm back with some super fun news!  Simply Betty Stamps is previewing BRAND NEW HALLOWEEN stamps today!  Woohoo!  Three today with 3 more tomorrow on release day!  Yeah!  We love Halloween!!!

I used Pumpkin Carving Alex on a digital layout with photos of my son from a few years ago.  Perfect!  Don't you just love it?  Be sure to check out the other 2 previews from today on the blog and come back by tomorrow...you'll love it!

Stamps and Other Items 4 Sale!

Good afternoon everyone!  The cleaning has begun!  I have decided that I have SO MANY unused and unloved crafty goodies that I need to make room for the stuff I really do use frequently.  I have started a FOR SALE TAB here on my blog.  Please take a peek and see if anything tickles your fancy.  Remember that I am always open to making deals or negotiations.  I plan to be adding more daily and I'll try to remember to add a post here to let you know.

Mermaids Galore - Release Day at Simply Betty Stamps!

Good morning everyone!  I had a couple of posts that were supposed to go live yesterday and didn't due to a debilitating migraine.  I woke up with the blasted, so my little "magic" pill didn't do a damn thing.  :O(  It lasted all day long too.  I'm feeling a bit better today, but not back to normal just yet.

The reason for this post...Simply Betty Stamps has released a new line of digital stamps today...Merkids!!!  They are uber cute!  I have Summer up first for you.  I used a Taylored Expressions stamp set for the sentiment along with Copics to color.  Some yummy MME paper and Star Dust pen for her tail, and we're set!

Last one I have for you is Broomhilda.  How could our beloved Betty not give us a Halloween Merkid?  :O)

Simply Betty Stamps Preview - Tilly

Good morning, my crafty bleeps!  It's time for Day 5 of the Simply Betty Stamps previews!  Don't you just love seeing Christmas cards in July?  I know I do...it's a welcome sight when it's 100 degrees outside!

Today's preview features Tilly.  What a saucy lil gal she is!  Of course I had to make her with red hair...she's loving that hot cocoa!  :O)  I used some more of my Basic Grey DP...love this stuff!  The charm has a rhinestone added to the middle to match her hair along with some orange and white Divine Twine.

Simply Betty Stamps Preview - Alex

Good morning, party people!  I'm back with another preview for Simply Betty Stamps.  This week we are sneak peeking the new Sweet Gothic Kids Christmas line and today is Alex's turn.  He is all ready to wrap up his gifties...the beautiful thing about this stamp is that you can totally use this image for birthdays too!  :O)

I used some yummy Basic Grey paper for my card...I just love this line!  He's been colored up with my Copics and I used a bit of distress ink on the edges as well.

Good afternoon all!  Welcome to a super hot Sunday here in Kansas!  It's officially over 100 degrees and it feels every bit as much!

I'm popping on today with a card for the current challenge at Pike's Playground.  Our challenge today is...ANIMAL'S RULE!  Use any animal image from Doodle Dragon Studios for your project...super easy!  Check out Dustin's blog for all the deets and the rest of the amazing samples we have for you!
I used several of the animals from the Zoo set and layered them up in Photoshop.  Whatcha think?

Good morning to all!  TGIF!  I feel like it's been a super long week!  Phew!  I'm here with a new challenge for Simply Betty Challenges this A.M.  Our challenge, should you choose to accept it, use any SBS image along with any sketch challenge!  Easy!  Super dee-dooper easy even!  I used the monthly sketch over at Graphicat Sketch Challenge...it's owned by our very sweet and talented DT sistah, Cheri!  Woot, woot!

I used the Max & Miller rubber stamp from the Everyday Teen Scene line.  I stamped it on kraft card stock and colored it up with my Prismacolor pencils.  I do just love the way it looks on kraft!  :O)

Good morning people!  It's time for another challenge at Anita Be Stampin Challenges!  Today is all about the recipe...we had to use 3 designer papers, 1 flower and 1 trim.  I combined this challenge with the one over at Basic Grey Challenges calling for stitches.  Woohoo!  I feel so accomplished!  LOL!

I used some of my favey BG Oliver paper along with the Celebration Cooper rubber stamp set.  How fun!

Brittany is our rocker of the day!  I combined this image with the challenge today over at The Burtonesque Dolls - twins.  How cute is Brittany as a big and little sister?  I thought what a wonderful just because card for my big sister...right?  :O)  I tried my hand at a rolled ribbon flower, and let me tell ya...it's not as easy as the tutorial makes it look!  LOL!

Today we have Ariel, she is one smart, cute, and sassy little miss! (Just like my dear daughter!)  How can we not say she's sassy with her little hand on the hip stance right!?  I made the silver stick pin and the flowers...I have several sets of decorative stick pins available in my Etsy shop if you're looking for a little something!  :O)

Hello everyone! Welcome to Preview Day 1 of Jude & the Rockers for Simply Betty Stamps! These toddlers are full of spunk, rock & roll and total cuteness! This new Jude & the Rockers line will be available in clear stamp form ONLY and their official release is Friday along with a challenge over at Simply Betty Challenges to kick off our re-launch of our weekly challenges! One week will be dedicated to card makers and the other week to scrapbookers, altered art lovers, and everything else! I do hope you will join us and see all the fun to come!

Hi There

Good morning everyone!  Sorry my Anita Be Stampin post is a little late this morning...we had some some pretty freaky weather last night and I didn't get my post scheduled.  :O)

Anyway, here is my card.  I made the flowers...cool, huh?  I love the way they came out.  I used the stamp set called Monster Hugs for my card today.  Only a sentiment on the front because I didn't want one of those adorable monsters stealing the show away from the flowers.  I did, however, use one of them on the inside of the card.  The beautiful lace is from Wild Orchid, the DP (which I LURVE) is by MME, I used my Silhouette to cut the leaves and petals for my flowers, butterfly is a charm from my stash.
