Anything Halloween Challenge

Good morning all and a happy weekend to ya!  It has cooled off quite a bit here over the last few days, and boy is it a relief!  It's nice when the AC can kick off for a bit!

I'm here with a new challenge over at Simply Betty Challenges.  The new theme?  ANYTHING HALLOWEEN!  As you all know, we LOVE Halloween!  If you missed it, we released some new Sweet Gothic Kids images last week in the Halloween genre, so that's what we have all used for the challenge.  I made a cute little milk carton treat box and used Franken-Scott for the tag.  He is too fun, right?!

Be sure to check out the SBC blog to see how you can be our next winner!  ;O)

Preview Day 2 at Simply Betty Stamps!

Hey, hey, hey!  Good morning everyone!  I hope you all had a fantabulous Mother's Day yesterday.  I'm here with Preview Day #2 of the brand new Teen Scene images at Simply Betty Stamps!

Today we're showing off Louie and Lola.  This one was my daughter's fave of the new line, so I decided to make her a bookmark.  She's been after me to make her one for a few weeks, so what better time, eh?  I'm not much at making bookmarks since you can't really add much girth to them, but she loved it.  :O)

I hope you'll be back again tomorrow...more cuteness to come!  :O)

Anita Be Stampin New Rubber Release!

Good morning, dolls!  I hope everyone is ready for the uber cuteness of the last 2 rubber sets to go along with the other 3 sets we previewed for you this week.  Check out all the new cling mounted rubber sets in the Anita Be Stampin Shoppe and see some super cute samples at Anita Be Stampin the blog!

Here are my samples using Love Bots and Love Bear...enjoy!

Be sure to check out our DT call and join us for our current challenge!  Have a wonderful weekend everyone!

Anita Be Stampin Rubber Preview Day 2

Good morning, party people!  TGIF!  I sure hope the weekend proves to be better than this week has been!  How could it not though?  TOMORROW is the big release day for the new rubbah at Anita Be Stampin!  Today we're previewing the set called Bears and Bunches.

I got a cute mini mailbox from the dollar section at Target and altered it up using the 2 cute bears in this set.  The boy bear actually holds a huge bouquet of flowers behind his back, but I just cut them out for the use on my project.  I hope you like it!

Check out the rest of the projects the team made with this adorable set by checking out the ABS blog!  :O)

Simply Betty Challenges #6...

Good morning, crafty bleeps!  Happy Friday!  Woohoo!  TGIF!  Yepper, Friday is here, so that means another challenge over at the Simply Betty Challenges blog!  This week's challenge is to make Thanksgiving place cards.

I made mine using one of the new Steampunk Gang digis called Gwendolyn.  Be sure to head over to the Simply Betty Stamps Shop and pick up some fun and quirky stamps for yourself!  :O)  I made the tag by printing her out at 50% opacity with the name plopped on top (at 100%) with a drop shadow.  I was going to leave it uncolored so the name on the place card really showed up, but that didn't suit me.  I didn't attack it with the same amount of color I usually do, but it's better with the color...believe me!  I sponged a bit of ink around the edges, matted it, punched the whole and tied it to the super cute pumpkin.  I got the directions for the pumpkin on The Pink Elephant.  I sure hope you like it!   {Sorry for the terrible photos!  I could not for the life of me get a decent picture, but I got lots of crappy ones!}

Be sure to check out the amazing talent of the other members on the DT!  Their links are on my sidebar or you can see them all over at the SBC blog!  Have a great day!

New Challenge at The Wild Flower Patch!

Happy Hump Day, all!  As my title mentions,we have a new challenge starting today at The Wild Flower Patch!  Unfortunately it will be our last challenge of 2010.  :O(  With this being the last Wednesday in October, our awesome leader thought it best to give us all a break for the upcoming holidays.  What a sweetie!  Because this is the last challenge this year, she has decided to offer up an uber amazing prize to the winner!  Are you ready for this?  TWO WFK RUBBER STAMP SETS:  No Girls Allowed and Pretty in Pink!  WOW!  Play along with us and these awesome stamps could be on their way to you!  Our last challenge is GHOULS, GHOSTS & GOBLINS...ANYTHING TO DO WITH HALLOWEEN!  Super easy to play along as you make up those last spooky cards and treat bags!

Today I have made a cauldron shaped mini album.  Is this cute, or what?  I used Pumpkin Lily to adorn the pull out journaling spot/photo mat.  I used a cool binding technique that lets the album lay flat when opened...it also prevents a bulging album from all those 3D embellies.

Franky's All Tied Up!

Good morning again, bleeps!  Is everyone getting the cooler temps where they live?  I LURVE Autumn!  It's my favorite season of all.  I have to say the colder weather is coming in spurts here in Kansas City.  It did get colder for a few days a couple of weeks ago, then we were back up into the 80's.  My fingers are so cold while I'm typing this it's kind of difficult!  LOL!  Complain, complain!

We have a new challenge starting today at The Wild Flower Patch.  Your challenge, should you accept it, is to use TWINE!  I have used Frankie for my project...you can pick yours up for just $3.00 at the WFK Shop!  I made this cute little candy holder for my project today...perfect for the twine challenge.  The template is a FREEBIE from the awesome and talented LeighAnn Baird!  Hop over to her blog and pick yours up too...check the sidebar under Free Templates!  :O)

Thanks for coming by today!  I really appreciate all your lovely comments!  Be sure to check out the rest of my Wild Flower Patch teamies to see what they have up their sleeves!  :O)

Witchin' Candy Container

Hello everyone!  I'm here with a quick post today to show you a little treat container I made.  The sun is out and I still have plenty of painting to do on the garage!

I found a free printable milk carton template on the internet (not sure where).  I printed it on my DP and set out cutting and scoring the lines.  Pretty simple, really!  I colored my Broomhilda image from Anita Be Stampin and cut it out using my nesties.  Punched a hole and tied it up with a ribbon.  Easy peasy!  Isn't it so cute?  I believe that DP is from Echo Park...loving it!  :O)

Have a witchin' day, people!

Hey Sugar!

Good morning everyone!  A quick post for you this AM...Anita Be Stampin is now open for business and we're looking for a few enthusiastic design team members.  Check out the post HERE for all the details!  You know you want to!

While I'm here I'll show you a quick little treat box that I made up last night.  I got the box and such from a friend in one of my Yahoo scrapbooking groups...thanks Anna!  I believe it's a Sizzix die she used for it.  Perfect size for a sweet treat!  I used one of the sentiment stamps from Rosie's Sweets at Anita Be Stampin on the label.  Sorry about the terrible photos...maybe I can retake them later.  You get the idea!  I added some caramels for the treat...for my "sugar!"  I also entered this into Julie Elak's Challenge at Do More with Less.

Have a great day!  :O)

Wink Wink Ink's Challenge is Up!

Good afternoon everyone!  Sorry for the lateness of this post...I wasn't supposed to have had to mow today, but hubby's allergies were acting up.  :O)

Today is time for a new challenge at Wink Wink Ink...these are held at our group page on CDAC.  This month's challenge is brought to us by the fabulous Sandi DeFalco!  ANYTHING BUT A CARD!  Challenge runs through September 30th!

I decided to make a mini pizza box for the challenge using Spot.  I changed his spots from black to brown using Photoshop.  I'm not sure what I'll use this cute little box for yet, but it's perfectly sized for post-it notes.  :O)

Don't forget to check out the deets for the DT Call at Wink WInk Ink!  Melanie is accepting applications through September 24th!  Click HERE for the details!

Wild Flower Patch Sneaky Peek!

Good morning everyone!  I'm here today with an oh-so-cute sneak peek of the new June releases over at the Wild Flower Patch.  They will be available tomorrow, June 23rd...click HERE TO SHOP!

Tomorrow is not only release day, but it's also challenge day AND we've decided to put on a hop for you!  Be sure to start out tomorrow at The Wild Flower Patch Blog and hop through each blog on the stop...don't forget to comment, because one lucky hopper who does will win the ENTIRE digi release!  WOOHOO!

Now...on to my sneak peek!  I used the little cutie called "Beach Ivy" to decorate the front of my Post-It Note Holder.  How stylin' is she?  :O)  I used my Bind it All to make this little project.  The sentiment is an acrylic stamp from CTMH.  What do you think?

Slamming Saturday Challenge at the Digi Shack!

OK, so it may not be slamming, but did it get your attention?  LOL!  Happy Saturday everyone!  I'm probably out as you're reading this getting inked up, so it's a very happy day for me!  Woohoo!

Today at The Digi Shack Toni has challenged us to make any 3D item and showcase a TDS image.  No flat stuff allowed here {I'm a walking example of no flat stuff}...no cards, no scrapbook pages.  Let's see what awesome 3D creations you have up your sleeves!  I made an accordian file "box" that will house all my printed digital stamps.  If I can find where I got the instrux, I will come back and edit this post to include the link.  As it is, I printed them out long ago and now I'm not sure where I got them.  :O)  I'd love to know what you think of it!
Be sure to join us for this challenge and visit the rest of my teamies and show them some love!  Their links are on my sidebar!

Flutter By Wednesday #100!!!

Happy Hump Day all my fluttering friends!  Welcome to another installment of Flutter By Wednesday!  Today is Danni's ONE HUNDREDTH challenge!  Can you believe it??  Today is an open week, so all you need to do is use a butterfly, fairy or angel in your creation!  Let's get to fluttering!

I want to take a second and say that Danni is awesome to create for!  Definitely one of the sweetest women I have had the pleasure of getting to know through blogland!  Thank you Danni for your continued support and awesome inspiration!  Love you lady!

Since this was FBW's 100th challenge, the DT wanted to congratulate Danni on all her success by using butterflies, the original concept of the challenge, for our creations.  Our lovely teamie, Karen, found this adorable butterfly "bag" for us to try out.  I made a card to go with mine since I'm underwhelmed by my bag.  Harriet, another of my uber talented DT sisters, always created wonderfully simple cards with beautiful use of white space.  I was inspired to try my hand at it and this is what came of it.
Be sure to visit the rest of the design team to see what wonderful things they came up with!  Links are on my side bar!  :O)
