New Challenge at The Wild Flower Patch!

Happy Hump Day, all!  As my title mentions,we have a new challenge starting today at The Wild Flower Patch!  Unfortunately it will be our last challenge of 2010.  :O(  With this being the last Wednesday in October, our awesome leader thought it best to give us all a break for the upcoming holidays.  What a sweetie!  Because this is the last challenge this year, she has decided to offer up an uber amazing prize to the winner!  Are you ready for this?  TWO WFK RUBBER STAMP SETS:  No Girls Allowed and Pretty in Pink!  WOW!  Play along with us and these awesome stamps could be on their way to you!  Our last challenge is GHOULS, GHOSTS & GOBLINS...ANYTHING TO DO WITH HALLOWEEN!  Super easy to play along as you make up those last spooky cards and treat bags!

Today I have made a cauldron shaped mini album.  Is this cute, or what?  I used Pumpkin Lily to adorn the pull out journaling spot/photo mat.  I used a cool binding technique that lets the album lay flat when opened...it also prevents a bulging album from all those 3D embellies.

The Colors of Halloween

Good morning again, guys and ghouls!  Happy Hump Day to you all!  It's Wednesday and you know what that means!  Wild Flower Wednesday at The Wild Flower Patch!  This week's challenge is a COLOR challenge!  ORANGE, BLACK & GREEN.  I can't wait to see what you'll come up with!

Today I used Kitty Violet for my card.  I paper pieced her outfit...too stinking cute.  My hubby loved this one...and I love that!  :O)

Holiday Treats!

***This is my 2nd post today.  Please scroll down to see my Digi Shack post!***

Good morning once again and Happy Hump Day!  Another week has come and gone already...man, does time fly!  With another Wednesday rolling around, it means another challenge at The Wild Flower Patch!  This week's challenge is the simplest yet...anything goes as long as you use a WFK image!  She has a freebie up on the WFP blog for you to use, for a limited time!  Woohoo!  NO reason whatsoever not to play along with us, right?

I used the image called Candy Cane and made the 2 criss-cross each other on my layout.  This was a photo of our "breakfast" on Christmas morning last year.  We have a huge family meal at lunch time, so we just have a little something in the morning.  These have quickly become a favorite at our house (though we may have to lose the M&M's this year since I have now lost 45 pounds)!  There is nothing better than a treat and hot cocoa on Christmas morning...while it's still quiet and peaceful!

Remember, this week ANYTHING GOES, so come on over and join the fun!  You could be the next winner!  Check out the rest of the creations from the awesome design team!  :O)

Sweet Snowman!

***This is my 2nd post today...please scroll down to check out my The Digi Shack post!***

Good morning again and Happy Hump Day to all!  Time is really flying by, isn't it?  We're almost into October, which happens to be my birth month!  It's time for another Wild Flower Wednesday at The Wild Flower Patch!  Today's challenge is to use a GLASS EFFECT.

I used the Snowman image for my card today...you can get yours for just $3.00!  I do love snowmen and this one is the cutest!  I tried my hand at the Cracked Glass Technique for the challenge today.  It didn't come out quite like I expected.  When I inked it I wasn't getting any ink into the cracks.  I decided I must need to bend it along the cracks I made and ink it that way...not the best idea either!  LOL!  Oh well, I guess it still looks alright.  I used some paper from My Mind's Eye stack...I love all this paper!  So yummy!  Card stock and brads from stash, TH distress ink, ribbon from e-Bay seller, Copics, nesties, UTEE, heat gun.

Time for a Sketch at the Wild Flower Patch!

Happy Hump Day all!  I hope your week is going well...mine has been SO BUSY!  I'm hoping to be able to sit down and knock out some of my design team projects for next week...keep your fingers crossed for me!  LOL!

Today the next challenge for Wild Flower Wednesday at The Wild Flower Patch is up.  This time it's a sketch by our wonderful leader, Jen Shults!  Come on over and play along...we'd love to see you use a WFP stamp, but you can use any image you'd like!  :O)

Today I used Holly Fairy Daisy...she's a little doll!  She was released last week, so if you missed her (and a few of her friends), be sure to get over to the shop and pick yours up today...she's just $3.00!

OK, I used the Basic Grey Eskimo Kisses DP again...I can't seem to help myself!  I never used it last year and I still love it!  I also used Copics, Sakura Stardust pen, Nesties, MS edge punch, ribbon from eBay seller, rhinestones and card stock from stash, pop dots, TH distress ink in Antique Linen and Brushed Corduroy.

Wild Flower Patch Blog Hop & Challenge!

Good morning, love muffin!  It's time for a Wild Flower Wednesday Blog Hop & Challenge! Today the Wild Flower Patch is releasing 5 brand new images and 4 new to digi images. These images are a mix of Halloween and Christmas with a lot of cute Wild Flower Kid flair! You can find all of these new images at the Wild Flower Patch Store for $3.00 each, or you can purchase the entire digi set for $22.00. One lucky hopper who comments on ALL of the blogs and ends the hop at the Wild Flower Patch blog  and leaves a comment will win the ENTIRE new release!!!!

The Wild Flower Wednesday Challenge for today is to add STRIPES to your project! The stripes can be in designer paper, embossed or made out of cut sheets or anything else your creativity comes up with! The winner of this week's challenge will win ALL FIVE of the brand new Wild Flower Kids images! How cool is that?  Let's get to my projects so you can get to HOPPIN'!

For today's challenge {STRIPES} I used Vampire Rye.  Who can resist him anyway?  I love that his crooked smile shows just one of his fangs.  SQUEEEE!  I colored his cape with Prismacolor pencils and OMS...the rest of him was done with Copics.  The DP is (I think) is BG Eerie line.  The little circle sentiment is from Recollections by Michael's and says Spooky.  Ribbon is from my stash.

My next card features a brand new image called Pumpkin Lily.  She is definitely the cutest!  I think I love this one so much because I dressed up as a pumpkin when I was little...complete with pillows for stuffing!  :O)  I used the Mojo Monday sketch.  The DP is All Fall by Fancy Pants...talk about stashing things away!  I forgot I even had this.  Yes, I ordered it when it was released!  *blush*  I used some ribbon from my stash, Copics for coloring, Fiskars border punch, Nesties Labels 8 and, distress ink.

Don't forget to comment for your chance to win the entire release!  Your next stop on the hop is the amazingly talented ANGELA SOWELL!

Here's the blog hop order in case you get lost:
Have a great Wednesday!!!

Button Scallopini!

Good morning again, love muffins!  It's Wednesday already...4 day work weeks always throw me off!  At least I landed on a good day!  It's time for Wild Flower Wednesday #31 at the Wild Flower Patch!  This week's challenge is all about using scallops and buttons...hence Button Scallopini!

I used the lovely Pumpkins image again this week.  I'm SO behind on my scrapping, so I decided to make another layout.  I "cut out" the  top most pumpkin of the trio to use as part of the title...Pumpkin Harvest.  Isn't my son's facial expression priceless?  LOL!  What a goof!  He sure has grown in the last 4 years!  :O)  I'm also entering this for the challenge at Tuesday Throwdown...Celebrate Fall!

Check out the rest of the design team's creations and join us for this week's challenge!  YOU could be our next lucky winner!  :O)

Fall Colors at Wild Flower Patch...

Good morning all and Happy Hump Day!  It's time for Wild Flower Wednesday Challenge #30 at the Wild Flower Patch!  This week's challenge is an easy one...FALL COLORS!  Fall is by far my favorite season...changing colors, falling leaves, a bite in the air, cozy sweaters...and of course, Halloween!  :O)

I used the digital image "Pumpkins" for my card today along with some SEI designer paper.  I changed things up and used my Prismacolor Pencils and OMS to color...I'll never get it to look like my awesome DT sistah...Donna's does, but I'm happy with it.  :O)

Take a peek at the rest of the design team's creations...they are all awesome!  Links are on my sidebar!  :O)

In My Garden

Good morning again, crafty friends!  Sorry for the lateness of my post.  It's time for Wild Flower Wednesday Challenge #29 at the Wild Flower Patch!  This week's challenge was issued by our lovely DT coordinator, Donna Wardle.  BLACK & WHITE!  A tough one, I think, but everyone really pulled out all the stops for it!  I'm so impressed by my fellow design team sistahs!!!

I used the flower image that was a freebie over on WFP Paper Craft Planet Group.  These were photo that I just took a couple of weeks ago out in my garden.  While I was out weeding, pruning and watering I had several visitors!  I saw a giant walking stick, a praying mantis and there was the most beautiful butterfly out there that looked solid black until he moved his wings...then they turned a deep shade of blue.  By the time I ran in for my camera the praying mantis was the only one I could still find to photograph.

You will definitely want to check out what the other design team members did for this challenge!  Check out their links on my sidebar!

Live Your Bliss with WFWC26!

Good morning, yet again!  It's time for another Wild Flower Wednesday Challenge at The Wild Flower Patch!  This week's challenge is an easy one...EMBOSSING (of any kind)!  Easy, right?  So easy that you know you want to play along with us!  While we would love to see you use our images, it's not necessary!  :O)

Today I used Skater Sage.  He is too cute...errr, I mean so tough!  All the way from his shaggy hair right down to the dirty sneakers!  I dry embossed the background paper with my CB diamond plate folder.  I embossed my sentiment (PTI), the spikes on his wrist cuff, his belt buckle and the metal parts of his skateboard with silver EP.  I just LURRRRRRRVE this DP from Basic Grey!  The Olivia line is just as scrumdiddlyumptious!

Check out the rest of my fellow team's creations...I know you'll be impressed!  Their links are on my sidebar!

Good morning again, friends!  Welcome to the 25th edition of Wild Flower Wednesday at The Wild Flower Patch!  This week's challenge is to use Brown, Cream and Mango on your creation.  I {HEART} this color combo!

I used Birthday Lily on my card today.  She is too adorable and I love her pig tails!  :O)  I used some scrummy DP by My Mind's Eye...all glittery and lovely!

Going Old School with Wild Flower Wednesday!

Good morning, yet again!  Another fabulous Wednesday post for you today.  Wild Flower Wednesday at The Wild Flower Patch this week is a fun one!  Use LACE and SPARKLE!  I decided to go old school on you...I made a shaker box for my card!  How long has it been since you made one of these babies?  LOL!  I'm not sure if I'm impressed or appalled by my creation this week...I'll let you be the judge.  BE NICE!  ;O)

I used the Heart Fairy Daisy digi for it.  I colored her with Copics.  The flower is a Prima that I sprayed with Smooch Spritz...I used it to add a little sparkle to the corners as well.  I got the lace from Jo-Ann's.  What are you thinking about it?

Check out what the other talented ladies on the DT made too...links are on my sidebar!

Gettin' Sketchy With It!

Nah nah nah nah nah nah!  Nah nah nah nah nah nah!  Sorry, every time I say that it makes me sing Gettin' Jiggy With It by Will Smith.  :O)  It's time for an awesome sketch over at The Wild Flower Patch!  Our very own Leigh Ann Baird gave us this beauty to work with.

I used Winter Dahlia for my card today...she can be found HERE.  It's kind of fun to make a wintery card in July!  :O)  Join us this week by following the sketch.  You could be the winner of some goodies from the WFP store!

Be sure to check in to see what awesome creations the other girls on the DT made...links are on my sidebar!

Channeling Tim Holtz

Good morning again, crafty peeps!  Happy Hump Day!  I want to take a second to wish my Dear Hubby a very Happy Anniversary!  It's our 6/3 year anniversary today!  6 years as a couple and 3 years happily married.  We were lucky enough to have our 3rd anniversary on a Saturday...which happened to be 07.07.07!  Vegas will never be the same, people!  WOOT!  Here's a couple of fun photos to share.  I love you, Kenton!

Welcome to the next edition of Wild Flower Wednesday!  This week's challenge is to channel your inner Tim Holtz...GRUNGE!  Tear it, distress it, grunge it up!  This one was particularly hard for me...I don't do cards like this for a good reason.  I hope this works for the challenge!  I did my best.  ;O)
