Happiness

Good morning to all!  TGIF!  I feel like it's been a super long week!  Phew!  I'm here with a new challenge for Simply Betty Challenges this A.M.  Our challenge, should you choose to accept it, use any SBS image along with any sketch challenge!  Easy!  Super dee-dooper easy even!  I used the monthly sketch over at Graphicat Sketch Challenge...it's owned by our very sweet and talented DT sistah, Cheri!  Woot, woot!

I used the Max & Miller rubber stamp from the Everyday Teen Scene line.  I stamped it on kraft card stock and colored it up with my Prismacolor pencils.  I do just love the way it looks on kraft!  :O)

Come on by the SBC blog and play along with us!  We don't bite...hard.  >_<

Carefree

Hi all my crafty friends!  Popping on SUPER fast to post this card I made for the current challenge over at Some Odd Girl...bright and blinding colors...before it closes.  I'm not sure if these are blinding, but they're defo bright!  I made the tag a little Tim Holtz-ish...or I tried anyway!  I hope you like it!

Doodle Dragon Studios Blogiversary Hop!

Here are a couple of fun projects I made using some of the blogiversary images...enjoy!

A digital layout of my son playing basketball...Dudley loves b-ball so much that even his skin has taken on the texture of a basketball!  I colored and "pieced" Dudley in Photoshop CS2.

A super cute new baby card using the duck and bubble frame.  I colored the inside and added the sentiment.  My original thought when I saw this image was that it would make an adorable photo frame for a baby bath layout, but I didn't have any pictures to suit.  Colored with Copics.

Next up I used the little lamb from the farm  collection...this little baby is so sweet!  I colored this one with Prismacolor pencils and OMS.

My last project for you was done with one of the utterly adorable hippos.  This one's out for an afternoon of sand, surf and sun...not to mention fun!  He's colored with Copics and the sentiment is a rub-on by Fancy Pants Designs.

*If you purchase the Blogiversary images BEFORE Saturday at midnight (MTN) you will receive over 200 digi's for $20.00...AND if you bought the April 7th release there is a 50% off code in the file that would make the blogiversary bundle only 10 bucks...Thru Saturday ONLY!  After Saturday night they get split into sets and will be available at a different price.  Don't wait, get in on the blogiversary NOW*

BLISS

Good morning and happy Saturday to you!  All is quiet here in the Pierce household this morning.  It is colder than a witch's...well, never mind that.  It's just cold!  Since it is and I have buddies that are being showered with snow as a type I thought I'd share a card I made back in December.  Yes, that's right...December!  I'm a slacker.

I used the adorable digi image called Snowman from Mo's Digital Pencil.  This is one of my fave images!  I had a blast coloring him up on kraft card stock with my Prismacolor pencils.  Woot!  I hope you like it and that you're nice and warm today!

Have a super weekend and thank you for stopping by!

Thanks a Bunch...

Hey, hey!  Good morning everyone!  It's time for another challenge over at Anita Be Stampin Challenges.  Welcome March...the first Tuesday of the month means a color challenge!  Anita gave us a very sophisticated color combo this week.  Come on over and join us!

I used the cutie patootie cling mounted rubber stamp set called Bears and Bunches.  He is so sweet isn't he?  I also used some Divine Twine from the ABS Shoppe.  I colored it with my Copics to match the cream colored card stock.

Thanks for coming by today!  Check out the ABS Challenge blog to see all the other amazing projects from the DT!  :O)

Sexy Valentine

Good morning, sweets!  It's Tuesday and you know what that means...well, you should anyway since I say this most every Tuesday!  It's time for a fresh new challenge at Anita Be Stampin Challenge blog!  Woot, woot!  Another fabby sketch this week by Neeters herself!  Check out the challenge blog and see all the deets including the awesome prize up for grabs!  ;O)

Today I have used the digi stamp called Busty Betsy.  Not only is she super sexy and oh-so-perfect for Valentine's Day cards, also 100% of the proceeds from Busty Betsy digi image sales will benefit Susan G. Komen For The Cure!  Awesome!  Once again I flipped the sketch...

Thanks so much for coming by to visit!  Check out what the rest of the team has done with this sketch as well...links are on my sidebar!  Have a wonderful day!

HBD2U

WOW!!!  I suck!  I had scheduled this post to go off last Friday and only JUST noticed that  it never posted...DUH!  Anywho, here it is!  Better late than never, eh?

Good morning...and a very early morning at that!  We are slowly digging ourselves out from Snowpocalypse 2011.  We got 20 1/2" inches of snow!  Can you imagine?  My neighbors were smart enough to take a picture with the yard stick, so I just borrowed theirs...UGH!

On to the reason for my post...it's Friday again!  Woohoo!  Time for another round of challenges at Simply Betty Challenges!  This week our teamie has challenged us to make a Valentine Birthday with the color combo of PINK, BLACK & TURQUOISE!  How fun!  I decided to use the ever adorable Rio Valentine Emo.  She's been colored with Copics with the exception of her hair...that's Prismacolor pencils and OMS.  I can't seem to get black hair right unless I use the pencils.  :O)

Be sure to hop on over to the SBC blog to get all the deets on this challenge including what awesome prize is up for grabs AND the awesome samples from my DT sistahs!

Christmas Emos Blog Hop with Simply Betty Stamps!

Welcome to the Simply Betty Stamps Christmas Emos Blog Hop & Release!

It's here, it's here! Christmas Emos Blog Hop and release day! Woot! If you came here by way of the fabulous Lady B you're right on track...if her post wasn't up yet she was having computer problems last night, so you might need to check back!  If you came by just to say hello (HI!), be sure to start at the Simply Betty Stamps Blog to find out what you need to do in order to win one of SIX fantastic prizes!  All these fun Christmas Emos are now in stock! But that's not all!  Echo Park Everybody Loves Christmas has also arrived! Check out the online store for all the goodies! These papers are going to look great with the new Christmas Emos!

The Christmas Emos are now available in both digi and rubber... but hurry!  The digi versions will only be available for a very limited time! Grab 'em while you can!

My first sample for you uses the adorable Elfin' Miller.  How upset is he over his outfit?  I had the perfect project too...I do hope you can read the journaling on my layout!  :O)  I paper pieced Miller's outfit to match the paper...the rest is colored with Photoshop CS2.
The second image used is Merry Betty.  What a babe!  She's happily on her way to deliver her gifts.  This is at my sister-in-law's house last year...never mind the photo of me.  Wow!  I do have a couple other layouts in the works, but it got pretty late, so I'll save those for later.  :O)

My last project for you today is a card using Prezzies for Lola.  This comes with Lola, the 2 presents you see and a really cute little holly bat friend (not pictured).  I love her so much!  Maybe because I was actually able to color some decent black hair (thanks Jen)!  The polka dot paper is the back of the argyle Halloween paper from Echo Park.  I wanted to use the skull paper, so what better to use than one that came with it, right?  I just colored 2/3 of the dots with hot pink and lime green.  I colored the twine to match too.  Damn, I'm clever!  LOL!  I used Copics, Echo Park DP, card stock and twine from stash, Stickles, nesties, CB snowflake embossing folder, Prismacolor pencils, OMS, pop dots, Photoshop, current Mojo Monday sketch.

Before I leave you I wanted to be sure you knew that there is a new challenge up over on the Simply Betty Challenges Blog!  Be sure to head over to the SBS Store too...there are some new steampunk style digis for you to drool over...and buy, of course!  :O)

I hope you enjoyed my projects...now it's time for you to scoot along to the fabulous blog of Linda!  Don't forget to leave some love for each of the DT members along the way!

Eat Crow

OK...another post for me real quick.  I wanted to play along in the last Halloween challenge at Simply Betty Challenges.  It was to use a witch/es in your project.

I had this idea...that's always scary!  A friend was over and left one of her images of Betty witch here...yay!  I love her, but I do adore Pumpkin London's outfit, so I whacked the head off of London and Betty and pulled the old switcheroo!  You know she looks fab!  I made up some directions for the "Eat Crow Candy Corn" that this little witch concocted...don't you have some people that you'd like to see really enjoy the taste of crow?  Muahahahahaha!!!  I hope you like my little treat {or is it a trick}!

A Bushel of Fun!

Happy Wednesday to you!  It's time once again for your weekly Showcase Showdown at The Digi Shack!  Be sure to hop on over and check out what everyone did today and pick up some digis for your next project!

I used the image called Apples for this card.  This is a card I made last year...I just plain ole spaced making something new.  Must have been all the excitement from my birthday!  ;O)

Macho, Macho Man!

Good afternoon all!  It's a chilly day here in Kansas City...perfect for watching football!  Too bad the Chiefs are on a bye week...BOO!

Today is the start to another challenge at Doodle Dragon Studios Challenge Blog!  The challenge this week?  It's all about the manly men, the macho men...use any DDS image and make your project MASCULINE! What's more masculine than a knight in shining armor with his steed?

Head on over to the DDS Challenge Blog and play along...you could win a free digital image of your choice!  This challenge runs through Saturday, October 16th.

Oh Baby, Do I Have Some News!

Good morning, crafty peeps!  I have some very exciting news for you today!!!  Before I get to that I wanted to share a card I made for a sweet couple we know...they just had their first baby...a bouncing baby boy...Brakley Joseph!  He is the cutest little man and I can't wait to meet him!

I finally used one of my Popcorn the Bear stamps that I got from CHA at the Crafter's Companion Booth.  I met so many of the nicest people there...Claire being one of them.  She was a riot and as cute as can be to boot!  Anita and I could have stayed there all day talking to them!  :O)  I used the sketch from Crafter's Companion Monthly Challenge since I was using one of their adorable stamps.  I hope they like it!  The stamp is Birthday Cuddles, DP is from Reminisce, card stock is DCWV, Kaiser pearls, circle nesties, Copics, Prismacolor pencils, OMS, Momento ink.

That exciting news I was talking about?  Are you ready for it?  My dear friend, Anita, is opening her own online store!!!
She has her very own line of cling mounted rubber and digital stamps that are too cute!  Woot!  The grand opening is on Saturday, October 2nd! The very first release of ABS cling mounted rubber stamps and digi images will be available then, AND we will also be having a grand opening celebration with prizes and a lot of fun. We are celebrating on World Cardmaking Day....gotta love that! More details to come...mark your calendars!
Feel free to grab the badge and add it to your sidebar...let's make the Anita Be Stampin Grand Opening a huge success!  :O)
