With a Heavy Heart...

Good morning/afternoon all my crafty peeps!  I have some super sad news to share with you today...

It is with a heavy heart I am announcing that I have stepped down as a Senior Design Team member with Sassy Studio Designs. 

I know that my blog has been full of fun creations by this company and I thought many of you would wonder why SSD images were absent.  I hope that you will still come by and see me...I promise to have other cute stuff for you to see!

We all loved the Alice in Wonderland images so much that we have MORE...along with a couple of cuties for Easter too!  These are all additions to the "Lani" line...I {heart} these images!

I have lots of fun samples for you today! Let's kick it off with a perfect little gifty for Easter, shall we?  I even recycled with this baby!  I washed and re-used a Prima bottle to add the jelly beans to. 

Next up I did a digital layout using the Alice inspired Lani's...Mad Hatter, White Rabbit and, of course, Alice. The following page will have a photo of hubby and I before we went out and our ticket stubs.  :O)

BLOG HOP TOMORROW & a SNEAK PEEK!

Hey everyone!  Just a little heads up for you all!  Sassy Studio Designs will be having our Springtime in Sassyland Blog Hop starting tomorrow at noon PST and running until Monday at midnight!  WOOHOO!

That said, I'm sneaking you all a peek of what's to come!  I haven't made a tri-shutter card in a while, so I made one using this sweet Easter "hunny" Bunny image.

Next up is a Halloween (yes, I said Halloween!) layout using a new cuter than cute Alice image!  :O)

Sassy Studio Designs Challenge

Hello everyone!  Sorry for the late post, but I got sidetracked earlier!  Happy Thursday!  It's time for another Dare to be Sassy Thursday at Sassy Studio Designs!  This week we had a fun challenge to use the following blinkie for inspiration.

I used the fun retro image called Go Go Girl.  It worked out perfectly for the card I was going for.  :O)  What say you?

Hello again!  March 6th is drawing near!  What's so special about March 6th you ask?  It's Digi Day at SNR and the Grand Re-Opening of The Digi Shack!  We will have a brand new home and some killer new images!  It will be loads of fun, so you won't want to miss it!  :O)  You can still get some TDS images by visiting the old shoppe HERE...get all the images currently in the store for $25!  Woohoo!

Dare to be Sassy Thursday...

Hey all my Sassy friends!  It's Thursday already...I cannot believe it!  It's time for another fun filled Dare to be Sassy by Sassy Studio Designs.  This week Val has challenged us with a color challenge that was inspired by the fun photo of Johnny Depp as the Mad Hatter.  Woohoo!  All you need to do to participate is make sure you use a SSD image and use the colors on the photo below!  :O)

Here is what I came up with!  I used Little Mad Hatter and one of the Alice in Sassy Land sentiments...

For my first sample I have used a special sentiment set for Alice and some wild mushrooms.  Of course I had to bust out The Cheshire Cat too!  The stamp comes without words on the wooden arrows.

Super Sassy Announcement from SSD!

Hello all!  I'm back, as promised with a look at my card using Sassy Studio Designs newest line!  These images were from the Lani line, originally created for The Digi Shack.  SSD is now the proud owner of this super sassy line!  Woohoo!  More cuteness to play with!  Stay tuned to see what Lindsay will name them!

I created a sample with the Army Lani...this will be going to a special soldier in my family!

Scrappy Frogs Challenge is Back!

Good afternoon everyone and TGIF!  It's a blizzard here in Kansas today!  Just gotta grin and bear it I guess.  ;O)  Today it's time for Scrappy Frogs Challenge!  Your challenge, should you choose to accept it, is to alter a mini mailbox for Valentine's Day!  They sell them for $1 at most Target stores! 

I used the Sweet Lollipop Lily digital image from Sassy Studio Designs on mine.  I thought it was appropriate.  I added boxes of conversation hearts to mine...the recipient loves them!  This was my first time doing anything like this.  What do you think?

Dare to be Sassy Thursday + More!

Good morning all you crafty peeps!  It's Thursday and I'm wondering where the week has gone!  It's time for another round of Dare to be Sassy at Sassy Studio Designs!  Your challenge this week is to make your project pink and red AND use any SSD image!  Not hard at all!  :O)

I used Dhyana for my project and lots of flowers!  I started out with the current 2 Sketches 4 You sketch and found it to be really hard.  I struggled quite a bit with it after seeing the wonderful samples everyone made with it.  I tried making it a circle like they all did, but I couldn't get it to look good, so this is what you get!  LOL!

Flutter By Wednesday #95 Gets Sassy

Good morning everyone!  Happy Hump Day!  Another Wednesday means another round of Flutter By Wednesday!  This week is another open week, so all you have to do to play along is use a butterfly, fairy or angel in your creation.  :O)

 I used Sassy March Hare from Sassy Studio Designs on my card today.  She is from the new release on the first called Alice in Sassyland!  You have to check out the new digis...they are to die for!  ;O)  I also used BoBunny DP and Mariposa DP by DCWV as well as my new Martha Stewart edge punch.  The sentiment is from CTMH and those yummy flowers are Prima.

Welcome to Sassy Studio Designs' Alice in Sassyland Release!  This release has been so much fun to get ready for!  We have a Sassy Bingo game set up for you and partying on the SSD Party Blog!  Be sure to check out the SSD Blog at 5:00PM PST (7:00PM CST) for the party blog addy and any other deets you may need!  On to the images...

First up is Little Mad Hatter.  I love this creepy little guy!  He's the best!  Lindsay wanted him to look like a doll form of Johnny Depp as Mad Hatter in the new Alice in Wonderland.  I think she did a WONDERful job!  :O)

What do you think of my flower?  I actually made this today...Prima it's not!  LOL!

Next is Sassy Alice.  Who doesn't love sweet, innocent Alice?  Notice how she towers over the trees?  Those darn cookies anyway!

Next I have Sassy Mad Hatter.  Isn't she fabulous?  :O)  This is definitely one of my fave color combos...of course I say that a lot!  "I have a great idea...let's change the subject!"  Gotta love A in W!

Last Sneak Peek Before Release Tomorrow!!!

Hi all.  I have more projects coming tomorrow, but I wanted to hop on and tease you one more time before the release tomorrow!  Sassy Studio Designs' next release is called Alice is SassyLand and you are going to LOVE it!!!  :O)

Here I have 2 images that I combined to make my card.  I used the Un-Birthday Cake and Sassy Mad Hatter to make this one.  :O)  How FUN is this?
