Button, Button, Who's Got a Button?

Good morning, crafty bleeps!  How was your weekend?  I hope all went well and your ready to face the new week refreshed!

It's the first Monday of the month...you know what that means?  Wink Wink Ink's October Challenge has been posted over on our CDAC Group.  Come on over and join us!  Our current challenge is all about BUTTONS!  Use any WWI image and buttons on your creation to qualify for a $10 gift certificate!  Woot!

I used the newly released Season's Tweetings for my card...I immediately fell in love with this set!  I do have a thing for snowmen, you know!  I have to say I am thrilled with the way the card turned out!  I used real buttons for his eyes (they were drawn as buttons anyway) and a button on top of the flower as well.  I also decided to make a tassel for his hat out of embroidery thread.  Cool. huh?  I colored the image and sentiment with Copics.  I also used a corner rounder, Xmas Red Stickles, Tim Holtz distress ink in Walnut Stain, Prima flower, flower punch, Basic Grey Jovial DP, pop dots, buttons and embroidery thread from stash.  I used the current sketch at Taylored Expressions and I love it!  What do you think of my card today?

Flutter By Wednesday #95 Gets Sassy

Good morning everyone!  Happy Hump Day!  Another Wednesday means another round of Flutter By Wednesday!  This week is another open week, so all you have to do to play along is use a butterfly, fairy or angel in your creation.  :O)

 I used Sassy March Hare from Sassy Studio Designs on my card today.  She is from the new release on the first called Alice in Sassyland!  You have to check out the new digis...they are to die for!  ;O)  I also used BoBunny DP and Mariposa DP by DCWV as well as my new Martha Stewart edge punch.  The sentiment is from CTMH and those yummy flowers are Prima.

Digital Pencil Too Challenge #7 & Other Challenges!

Hi crafty friends!  Happy Friday!  :O)  I told you yesterday to stay tuned because I was off to make a card for Mo's Digital Pencil Too Challenge...well I did.  I had it finished yesterday morning, but I got sidetracked and didn't end up getting it posted.  So here I am with it today instead!  I'm sure no one wanted to see my name first on Mr. Linky again this week anyway!  ;O)

The challenge this week at Digital Pencil Too Challenge Blog is a recipe.  You must use 3 different papers, a decorative edge and 2 ribbons along with one of Mo's fabby digis!  I love recipe challenges!  I used Bismark for this challenge...he's SO sweet!!!  I am too happy with the way this turned out.  :O)
