Button, Button, Who's Got a Button?

Good morning, crafty bleeps!  How was your weekend?  I hope all went well and your ready to face the new week refreshed!

It's the first Monday of the month...you know what that means?  Wink Wink Ink's October Challenge has been posted over on our CDAC Group.  Come on over and join us!  Our current challenge is all about BUTTONS!  Use any WWI image and buttons on your creation to qualify for a $10 gift certificate!  Woot!

I used the newly released Season's Tweetings for my card...I immediately fell in love with this set!  I do have a thing for snowmen, you know!  I have to say I am thrilled with the way the card turned out!  I used real buttons for his eyes (they were drawn as buttons anyway) and a button on top of the flower as well.  I also decided to make a tassel for his hat out of embroidery thread.  Cool. huh?  I colored the image and sentiment with Copics.  I also used a corner rounder, Xmas Red Stickles, Tim Holtz distress ink in Walnut Stain, Prima flower, flower punch, Basic Grey Jovial DP, pop dots, buttons and embroidery thread from stash.  I used the current sketch at Taylored Expressions and I love it!  What do you think of my card today?

White Hot Flutters...

Good morning everyone!  Happy Monday!  All is quiet this morning, so I decided to post a card I worked on over the weekend.  It incorporates a couple of challenges even!

My dear friend, Holley, stamped me some Sweet Pea images and now I have had the pleasure of coloring one.  THANK YOU!  I am entering this card into the Oh, Alice: Chapter 25 challenge which was to make an all white card with the exception of your main image panel.  I thought it a bit tricky, but I had to try it!  This is also for Flutter By Wednesday #116...use a flutter and your favorite color.  Two of my favorite colors are on here...orange and a wee bit of green too.  :O)
