An Unscripted 12 Days of Christmas Betty Style - Day 5!

Good morning everyone and welcome to the weekend!!!  It's Saturday again...crafty time for me!  WOOHOO!  This also means another round of sketches at Unscripted Sketches!  This time I have joined it up with my 12 days post for Simply Betty Challenges!

What's the challenge for Day #5 of the 12 Days of Christmas?  It's simply this...

Jingle Spells, Jingle Spells...it's a Witches Christmas day!
You got it!  Deck your favorite SBS Witch for the Holidays! Woot, woot!  We just know you are gonna ROCK this!

I used Betty Witch for my card.  I added all sorts of fun holiday themed items into the cauldron along with some snowflake sparkle and magic dust!  There's everything from gingerbread men cookies to candy canes to reindeer in the mix...all expertly combined to make the best Christmas ever!  :O)  I used Copics, DP by Echo Park (found  HERE @ SBS), TH distress ink in fired brick, Sakura stardust pens, EK Success edge punch, nesties, card stock from stash, pop dots, sketch at Unscripted Sketches.

Come on over and join in the fun!  Check out the SBC blog to see what witchy goodness the other girls have and check out the US blog to see what sort of sketchy goodness can be found over there!  Have a great day!

Meowy Christmas!

***Please scroll down for my 12 Days of Christmas post for Simply Betty Stamps!  Thank you!***

Good morning again!  It's Saturday, and you know what that means!  Time for another sketch challenge at Unscripted Sketches!  I saw this one and knew it was meant to be a layout for me...surprise, right?  LOL!  I just flipped it over for my sample.

I used the uber cute Kitty Note and the Christmas Hat digital images from Wink Wink Ink for my replica of Salem.  I merged them in Photoshop CS2.  This hat is so fun because you can add it to any animal, person or stamp!  Now that's versatility!  Not to mention it's just $1.50!  Woohoo!  WWI is also having a Winter Bundle Sale right now...it includes 5 complete stamp sets and the Christmas Hat image for $20!  Don't forget that these come in B&W for you to color PLUS colored versions (perfect for when you're low on time)!

Don't forget to check out the US Blog to see what the other talented DT members made this week!  :O)

Anita Be Stampin Blog Hop Gets Unscripted!

Welcome to the Anita Be Stampin Winter Digi Release and Blog Hop!

If you've arrived from Joni's blog you're on the right track!  If you only stopped by to see what's going on with me (Awwww, shucks!  Thank you!), then be sure to start right back at the beginning on the Anita Be Stampin Blog...you don't want to miss any of the inspiration!

All of the new digi images are available NOW at Anita Be Stampin, and we are celebrating by having a blog hop filled with inspiration.  Be sure to visit all of the stops on the blog hop today and leave a comment, because one lucky winner who comments on EVERY blog along the way will win the entire digi release!  Woohoo!

The first image I used for you today is called Aspen.  She's so sweet all bundled up in her fluffy coat.  I decided to make a digital layout with her.  The photos are from my front door last December.  One minute there was absolutely NO precipitation...then we had a bit of rain and about an hour later this is what I see!  See the icicle hanging from the Christmas lights in the little photo?  You gotta love the weather in Kansas City!

The next image I used is called Sasha.  So carefree!  I love this image!  I paper pieced her hat and scarf with some snowflake paper.  I made the flower using some nesties and added snowflakes all around.  Those of you who come by often will know that I have a thing for snowflakes and snowmen!  :O)  The stamped sentiment is by PTI.

The last card I have for you today uses Angeline.  How beautiful is she?  This card combines my ABS post with my Unscripted Sketches post.   I followed sketch #82 for today's US challenge...be sure to head over and check out what the other girls did!  On this one I tried my hand at watercoloring with distress inks.  Obviously I need some more practice, though I do think it's ok.  I went a little Stickle crazy and put it on just about everything...I do love my bling, you know!  The sentiment is one that I made in Photoshop...love it!

That's it for me!  I hope that you liked my projects and I thank you for stopping by.  Now it's time to hop on to the lovely and talented Rachel's Blog!

Remember to leave a comment on every blog on the hop today for your chance to win all of the ABS digi images released today.  Here is the list of all of the stops on the hop today, just in case you get lost along the way.

Season's Tweetings!

Good morning, party people!  No party today?  Okay, here either, but that's the first thing that popped into my head, so that's what you get!

Another Saturday is here already, so it's time for another round Unscripted Sketches!  Check out the sketch and join us this week!  I have done up yet another digi layout for my sample today.  Are you totally sick of them already?  :o/  The line of birds and the sentiment are from Season's Tweetings set over at Wink Wink Ink.  That's not all that's in the set either...it has THE cutest snowman and another sentiment too!  Check out the WWI Shop for some cuteness of your own!
Be sure to hop over to the Unscripted Sketches Blog to check out all the other fabby creations from my DT sistahs!  Have a wonderful weekend!  :O)

Sweet Chloe's Unscripted Birthday

Good morning everyone!  Happy Saturday!  I am plus one this weekend as my 13 year old has his buddy over.  Oh, the joys of 2 teenage boys.  They are being really good, actually.  :O)  I want to say I'm sorry to everyone for not coming by your blogs yesterday or this weekend.  I don't have enough time in the day, it seems.  I will get back with it first thing on Monday, I promise!

Today is sketch #80 at Unscripted Sketches!  Join us for another fabby sketch challenge!  I hope you're not getting tired of seeing my layouts, because that's what I have for you again today.  I used the uber cute Button Bear from Wink Wink Ink.  I paper pieced it with matching paper and used buttons from the digi kit for her joints.  The original file is of the bear standing, but I moved things around and made my little bear sitting on the paper with one leg hanging down.  I hope you like it!  I mean how can you not with all the sparkly goodness and the adorable little girl?  Two weeks ago we had a birthday party for my Great Niece's 1st birthday.  It was a very special day for all of us.  Little Chloe Krislyn was diagnosed with gastroschisis pretty early on in the pregnancy.  She was in hospital after she born for 3 months.  She had only one surgery and has been our own personal miracle.  She is such a doll and is such a happy little girl!  Anyway, here is a layout of her at her birthday party...look at those eyes!  :O)

Don't forget to check out what all my DT Sistahs have made for you see today...links are on my sidebar...better yet, head over to the US Blog and see everything while you link up your creation!  :O)

The Real Original Sassy Bunny Goes Unscripted!

Good morning, crafty bleeps!  I have a super special card to share with you today!  It's Saturday, and that means another round of Unscripted Sketches.

Today I have used line art by Jennifer Vaiano aka NoFlutter at deviantArt.  Jennifer was gracious enough to let me try out some line art that she's re-done.  She is planning to open her own online shop!  Squeeeee!

The little minx is called White Rabbit and she is amazing!  She looks familiar to you?  There's a reason for that...you can read about it by clicking here if you like.  I have to say it took me FOREVER to color her.  I used a sentiment from PTI.  Hope you enjoy this little hottie patottie!

Check out the rest of the DT and see what they have to share today too...links are on my sidebar!

Cutest Dog + WWI Cupcake + Sketch = AWESOME!

Good morning everyone!  I hope you're all having a fantabulous start to your weekend!  It's Saturday and that means another round of Unscripted Sketches!  This week's sketch is a great one...and one I can see using over and over again.

I made a layout of my cute little Brussels Griffon on her birthday.  I used Wink Wink Ink's CDAC Freebie Cupcake for my layout.  The freebie has now been taken down, but I believe it will eventually make it's way to the WWI Shop.  I made it glittery and added a little bone to the front of it.  I also got to play along with Curtain Call Color Challenge: Act 52.  A first time for me.  I always want to play, but I never get around to it before the next colors are announced.  This color combo was one of my faves, so I knew I HAD to participate!

Be sure to stop by and visit the US blog to see all the other amazing creations this week!  :O)

Unscripted Sketches BCA Blog Hop!!!

Good morning, cupcake!  I hope you're here for the Unscripted Sketches Breast Cancer Awareness Blog Hop!  If not, please hop back to the US Blog and start at the beginning...you won't want to miss a thing!  If you have arrived from Alanna's Blog, you're right on track!  There are several girls giving out candy along the way!

Did everyone see my shirt in the photo above?  I made that!  The ribbon is made up of nothing but nicknames we all call breasts.  It took several hours of work to get everything arranged and fit in properly, but I do love it!  :O)  If you would like the .jpg file to use for yourself, you can "purchase" it for $1.  I will donate all proceeds from the sale of the file to Susan G. Komen for the Cure!  I'll announce at the end of the month how much we were able to donate together!  :O)

E-mail address to send file:

Komen for the Cure!  WOW!  You go girl!  Such a wonderful cause to support!  Like my hubby always says...The world is a better place with TA-TAS in it!  Let's save them all!  For my card I used Copics, Prismacolor pencils & OMS, Q & Co brad, nesties, DP and card stock by SEI, Spica glitter marker, Prima pearl flourishes.

Unscripted + Anita Be Stampin GRAND OPENING!!!

Good morning, party people!  It's Saturday...it's October 2nd...it's World Card Making Day...it's Sketch Saturday at Unscripted Challenges...it's the Grand Opening at Anita Be Stampin!  WOOHOO!!!  You've been clamoring about it all week (yes, I heard you) and it's finally here!  Be sure to come on over to the ABS Group on Papercraft Planet throughout the day for chances to win  some scrumdiddlyumptious prizes!  Anita and I will be there to chat with you between 7-9 PM CST!

All of the samples today are cling mounted rubber stamp sets...man, do they smell GOOD!  My first card features Celebration Cooper and sketch #75 at Unscripted Sketches!  The sketch was perfect for this little guy!  I flipped it all the way upside down and made mine in a standard A2 size.  Show us that YOU'RE Unscripted too!  :O)

Next up is Broomhilda.  What a sassy (if not sweet) little witch!  I love her with those too cute booties!  I made this card hybrid.  I did all the background in Photoshop and plopped her right on top.  I needed a nice flat card to send overseas and this fit the bill perfectly!  I colored her using Copics and added some Sakura Stardust pen for some sparkle.

Devilish Diva is up to her old tricks again...breaking hearts and loving it!  I added some CTMH Liquid Glass to her bodysuit, horns, tail, pitchfork and shoes.  The rose was white and red two-tone from Wild Orchid Crafts and I added a bit of black to it, as well as a charm.  I thought the charm was perfecto for this card...doesn't it look like it's on fire?  I colored the center of it with Copics.

Last one for the day is called Frankenbride.  This one is perfect for all your GHOULfriends!  Another hybrid using a brand new kit from Summertime Designs...Bootiful Night.  Love it!  Frankenbride was colored with Copics, cut out and popped up.

I hope you've enjoyed all the peeks this week...now GET TO SHOPPING!!!  :O)
