Fresh Baked, Cute as Pie and Pumpkins!

Happy day after the feast dear stampers! I wasn't sure I'd be stamping today -but then I got inspired by two challenges - you know how that goes I'm sure!!

The Moxie Fab World Tuesday Trigger and the Free 4 All Split Coast challenge were both food related! (go figure!)

this cookie is the Tuesday Trigger

and the Free 4 all challenge was to make something with a yummy food theme!

So here's my gingerbread snowflake tag to go with my yummy gingerbread snowflake cookie!

To make my tag, I used a store bought tag from Staples. I ran two ink pads over my nonstick craft mat, spritzed it with water, then dragged my tag over the mat to pick up the watery colors.

Next I stamped the text over the tag which blurred a little because the tag was damp. Then I spritzed it again with a mixture of water and gold Perfect Pearls and dryed it a little with my hot gun.

I cut my snowflakes from felt and shimmery card stock and assembled as you see here. I stamped the perfect sentiment and layered it over the snowflake with a foam dimensional. Then I just tied the wrinkled seam binding through the hole in the tag.

The perfect tag for a gift of one or a dozen cookies!

And I just had to share - here's my sweet little grandnephew, Landon, sleeping in my arms yesterday at my sister's house!

And here are three little pumpkins I made and brought to Thanksgiving for the table.
I found a video on how to make them here. I found it 2 years ago and finally made them! They are really easy and look SO cute don't you think??Thanks so much for stopping by during your busy day today! Remember to come back tomorrow to check out the Saturday Waltzingmouse Sketch!
