A Box of Wee Gingerbread People!

Here is another project I made officially as a Design Team member (whoo hoo!!) for Waltzingmouse Stamps . If you frequent my blog - you have seen several projects I've made using this sweet set called Half Baked - Gingerbread Joy. I just love the little gingerbread people and the clothes you can stamp on them from this set!

For this project I covered a 2" round papermache box (Michael's - $1.00) with designer paper (retired SU) and added a little lace I had in my stash to the cover's edge - I thought it looked like a doily under the 'cookie'!

I stamped the gingerbread man and stars on a piece of white card stock and cut it out with a circle Nestibility. I stamped 'gingerbread' right over the little guy - that word is from the Oven Fresh Set. The Sweet Treats sentiment was stamped on white and punched with the SU word window punch. I used foam dimensionals to attach both to the box. I sanded the edges of the designer paper on the cover just to soften it a little.

Then I added these adorable 'wee' girl and boy gingerbread cookies that I made. I found these cute little cookie cutters somewhere in my travels many years ago. Six of these cookies will fit in the 2" diameter box if you lay them down in it! Wouldn't this be a fun little holiday treat for someone?!

Please hop on over to Claire Brennan's new Waltzingmouse Stamps Web store to check out this set and take a peek at all the others while you're there! I guarantee you'll find something that you like !!

Thanks so much for stopping by - I'll be showcasing Waltzingmouse stamps all this week so be sure to come by again - and please check out the other DT members blogs - you'll find them posted on my side bar!
