WMS SOAP - Stamp of Approval Parade Day #1 - Flying the Bitty Banners

Welcome to the Waltzingmouse Stamp of Approval Parade (SOAP)!!!  Claire has decided to release new stamps every other month -  so for April (a no 'new release' month)  the Design Team is having a parade  -  there will be 4 fun days in our parade - for the first 3 days we will be highlighting stamps from the WMS March Release - Bitty Banners, Vintage Banners, Back in the Saddle, Way Out West and Very Vintage Labels 18.

And on the 4th day of this festive parade - we will be highlighting a set from a past release.  For April this set is Spring Baskets - just in time for all of our spring cards!

Today - I have chosen to highlight Bitty Banners.

Mr. + Mrs. Bluebird are making their new nest and sprucing up their house in anticipation for the new family they will soon have!

To help the Bluebirds out - I painted their little birdhouse with Tattered Rose Distress Crackle Paint and then sponged the edges with Old Paper Distress Ink.

Then I stamped the bitty banners, cut them out with scalloped scissors and strung them up on the sides of the bird house with narrow silk ribbon.  I die cut the banner on the front and stamped it with a sentiment from Spring Baskets added a little bling and adhered it to the front of the house with foam tape!

Here you can see Mr. Bluebird bringing some 'grass' for the new nest in his little beak!!

So here they are - all ready to joyfully welcome their new family!  I'm sure the baby birds will be very happy to live in this festive little house!
