A Fresh Baked Tag for the New Year!

Happy 2011 everyone! I cannot believe how fast a year flies by. And now we start a fresh new one!

I combined two recent Split Coast Challenges for my little tag today - the Clean And Simple challenge was to be inspired by this apron and the Try a New Technique challenge was to use stitching - real or faux.
Instead of a card - I decided to make a tag that I could attach to a freshly baked gift.
I've had this wonderful apron from Lockhart stamps for ages and, shame on me, I haven't used it in over a year! So I was happy to be inspired to finally use it.
First, I stamped the apron on the tag and then I paper pieced 2 different papers on it. I quickly stitched around the edges of the tag, stamped the WMS sentiments and grid (don't the grids look like cooling racks?!) I sponged the edges and added the wrinkled seam tape.
Did you make any New Year's Resolutions or did you resolve not to make any???!!!
Mine are the ongoing, never ending ones - try to eat better and exercise more!
