I made this card for two challenges - the Ways to Use it challenge over on Split Coast - to use a mini element on your card (I used mini blue brads - and sort of a mini bird!) and for the Double Dare Challenge I do with a group of SCS friends - Charlene (LilLuvsStampin) was our hostess this week - and her instructions were to make a Christmas themed card - using Brocade Blue and Julee's MoJoSketch challenge seen here. You can see the other Double Dare Challenge cards here - we have until next Monday to post them.
I didn't have brocade blue so I used a Bazzil blue card stock that I had that's hopefully close? I punched the edge with a Martha Stewart lacy snowflake punch. The chubby bird and sentiment are by Amuse - new releases I purchased at an A-muse-a-palooza event at The Paper Tree in Manchester, NH where I attended a workshop run by Jenn Shurkus this past Tuesday.
I added Stickles to his hat and scarf to give him a little wintery shimmer! Thanks for stopping by!
