I'm excited to show you my contribution today!
I made this lovely trio of candles showing the Nativity Scene using this beautiful Christmas set by H&M Stamps called A Child is Born.

Basically - you stamp your image on a piece of white tissue paper, color it with markers or reinkers, crayons or colored pencils - cut around the image and place the tissue paper image on the candle where you want it located.
Then you cut a piece of wax paper a little bigger than the height of the image and long enough to wrap around the candle with a few inches more to grab. Wrap the wax paper around the candle over the tissue paper image and hold the wax paper tight against the image on the candle by grabbing the wax paper in the back.
Move your hot gun over the wax paper and image until you see the tissue 'disappear' into the candle (this doesn't take long at all). Remove the wax paper and your image is on your candle and the tissue paper should be invisible. Repeat with each image you want on the candle. Then you can decorate as you wish.
I stuck a star brad in the shepherd candle. I used a green one - thinking it represented the green hillside the shepherds would be on with their sheep.
and I added silver stickles to the crown and gift of this king.
I added gold ribbon to the top and bottom of the Holy Family candle as well as a silver stickles halo around baby Jesus' head.
These candles are so easy to make and come out so professional looking! I think this trio would make a lovely Christmas decoration for a mantle or as a table centerpiece.
