Happy Saturday everyone - we are having torrential downpours this morning - but I guess it's better than snow which I hear the mid west is getting! I have a lot of 'chores' to do today and I was going to do them before stamping - but then I saw the inspiration challenge on Split Coast which was an Irish Chain Shamrock quilt and I was inspired by one of the squares of it - if you look here and scroll down you will find the square that looks something like my card!
I've been wanting to try this cross hatch scoring with my new Scor-pal so this was the day to get to it! It's so easy to use and looks so neat on a card. I know there are more things I can use this great tool for and I have to remember to play!
I used my nestabilitiy scalloped circle to cut out the center piece. The thanks sentiment is from a Stampin Up set called Riveting and the heart shamrock is by AIP ViP's. I used my Adirondack Meadow ink - I love how juicy those ink pads are and they stamp bright and clean. I colored some of the clovers with my Green Tea Prismacolor marker. The corners are punched with the photo corner punch from SU. The circles and corners are all up on dimensionals - which I also get from Stampin Up - I love their's the best.
Well - off to finally do my chores - and later this evening dear husband and I are going out to bowling and pizza with the fellowship group from church. I haven't bowled in a couple of years so we'll see how that goes!
Thanks for dropping by!
